Hatha Raja Flow

Olivia first discovered Hatha Yoga in 2003 and immediately realized the impact it would have on her life. Through her desire to deepen the knowledge, she sought to learn how to teach and share her passion with others from the masters. Along the journey, she explored different schools of Yoga, notably Vinyasa, Iyengar Yoga and Hatha Raja Yoga.

In 2011, Olivia met her master, mentor, and inspiration – Sri Andrei Ram Om, who transformed her practice and her life. Through him, she discovered a simple traditional Yoga method, that goes beyond the asana-centered practice.

His teachings include pranayama techniques, powerful mantras, guided meditation, an the understanding of the koshas (subtle energy channels) and the chakras. Through her guru, Olivia discovered a spiritual dimension that she had never suspected to exist before: a union of the body and universal soul. For Olivia, it is an honor to share her understandings with her students, through love, humility, patience, humor, non-violence and an idea that each and every one may attain self-realization and ultimately, freedom.

Olivia will share how to explore basic to intermediate poses with awareness and consciousness and to create effortless transitions. The focus of this course will be letting go and accessing the flow. Connecting the body and the mind, with calm and joy. Losing yourself, finding yourself, accepting where you are in the present moment and getting to know yourself better in the process.

Hatha Raja Flow: Free Your Hips

During this course we will prepare the body for the hip opening poses to access a deeper state of mind and surrendering. We will learn how to perform them safely in a fun and playful way. You will leave having released your hips and feeling empowered to continue the opening in your regular practice.

Hatha Raja Flow: Maha Shakti (Intermediate-Advanced)

This will be an opportunity to develop your practice with an intensive focus on the body, mind and soul with a traditional Hatha Raja Yoga practice as passed on by Sri Andrei Ram, sprinkled with a creative flow.

 Olivia will share how to explore basic to intermediate poses with awareness and consciousness and how to create effortless transitions. You will explore a little bit of everything : backbends, deep twists, deep hip openers and of course inversions. This course will include breathwork.

All of Olivia’s workshops can be used as Continuing Education Contact Hours with the Yoga Alliance.
