I’m very excited to share with you a series of posts about our Berlin Yoga Conference Festival Program entitled “Berlin Yoga Conference Presents”, with the second article dedicated to Helen Meyer and the YogiBar.

About the Berlin Yoga Conference Festival Program

Originally, we have planned to host only the yoga teachers from out of town, but now we have expanded out program to include the most popular and amazing Berlin teachers and local yoga studios. Therefore, Berlin Yoga Conference 2019 is split into two: the conference and the festival programs.

The conference program includes every single experience over the weekend, while the yoga festival program features the following: the opening and the closing ceremonies, the music/fashion-show/performance program after 20:00 on all the three days of the event, the interactive yoga workshops, the do-it-yourself workshops (some of them require an extra charge for the materials used), the access to the sandy beach with a pond, as well as our fair & sustainable market place and mini book fair with three publishers presenting their books on yoga, meditation, spirituality, philosophy, psychology/personal development, and healthy lifestyle.

HELEN MEYER | Certified Advanced Teacher Trainer | Hatha Yoga & Meditation

Helen is the founder of the YogiBar Berlin and teaches Yoga and Meditation for more than 15 years. Over the period of 7 years, Helen studied different Hatha Yoga methods and traditions, from Sivanadna Yoga, through Iyengar Yoga to Anusara Yoga. She did Teacher Trainings in Pregnancy, Mama, Children’s and Hormone Yoga, as well as Yoga for the Back. Helen prefers not to give a label to her teaching method and says that she simply teaches Hatha Yoga. Since 2014, Helen offer Teacher Training programs for those wishing to become yoga teachers 

Workshop at the Berlin Yoga Conference

Helen will be teaching the following workshop at the Berlin Yoga Conference May 24-26:

Mindful Hatha Yoga & Meditation | 14:00-15:30 | Friday, 24.05

In this workshop we’re going to combine the movement from the yoga system and the stillness from the meditation. Ultimately, yoga helps us to prepare the body for meditation – we will stretch, open, and move the body gently to be able to take a meditation position with comfort and ease, over a longer stretch of time.
