I’m very happy to continue with the series of posts about our Berlin Yoga Conference Festival Program entitled “Berlin Yoga Conference Presents”, with this post dedicated to a enso yoga, a yoga studio founded by Füsun Folger in Berlin Mitte. At the festival, the studio will be represented by Maike Egger-Hädler.

Some background information first.

When I first planned the program for the Berlin Yoga Conference, I invited teachers exclusively from out of town. My idea for this was the following: Berliners already had access to these amazing Berlin teachers, so why not bring the teachers from other cities and countries then? Furthermore, I even set a specific ration of national (German) VS international (from outside of Germany and Europe) teachers to be 50/50, which is still very much the case.

However, with time I realized that my thinking was not wholistic. Since I wanted this to become an international yoga event that reflects on the local yoga community, I needed to get the Berlin teachers on board, to give them a chance to present themselves to an international audience and to get them involved in this major Berlin yoga happening. This is how the idea for the Berlin Yoga Conference Festival Program was born.

MAIKE EGGER-HÄDLER | Certified Yoga Teacher | enso yoga Berlin

About Maike

“I like the idea of Yoga as an antipode to modern life.

To become calm. Our breath is guiding the movements,

which can be as individual as every single one of us.

Every day moving can feel different as we may feel different.

Yoga is a perfect frame and we can fill it with our own movements.

We connect to ourselves.”

Maike teaches since 2017 Lunch Yoga (Monday & Thursday) and Level 1-2 (Thursday) classes at enso yoga in Berlin Mitte.

Workshops at the Berlin Yoga Conference

Maike will be teaching the following class at the Berlin Yoga Conference May 24-26:

The Essence of Enso Yoga | 12:15-13:45 | Friday, 24.05

In this well-structured class, we will let you experience the essence of enso yoga. With simple sequences and the combination of breath and movement you will meet a return to wholeness. The interplay of silence and movement opens up a new space for experience: recognize, understand, change! The class ends up with Savasana (an extensive deep relaxation) and a meditation.
